EL DESTINO DE ELENA is a biographical documentary about Elena Rubio de Mingorance, a central figure in Tierra del Fuego’s political history and president of the Constituent Convention that drafted the province’s Constitution in 1991. Through first-hand testimonies from key figures of the period, the film retraces the provincialization of Tierra del Fuego and the creation of its new institutional framework, intertwining Elena’s personal story with the recent history of Río Grande and the province.
